We are the Zaanse Schans Tours team. We bring together every guided way to the windmills, check the hours, the prices and the access rules against the foundation’s own pages, and set out what each fare covers so you can pick a day in a couple of minutes rather than an afternoon.

What we can help with
- A fact that looks wrong. Prices move, mills close for restoration and the seasonal hours change twice a year. Tell us and we will check it against the foundation’s own pages.
- A tour that has changed. Operators move their meeting points and change what they include. If a listing no longer matches what we say, we want to know.
- A question we have not answered. If it is a good one it usually ends up on the FAQ page.
What we cannot help with
We do not take bookings, hold reservations or issue refunds. Every booking is made with the operator running that day, and cancellations go through them. Their terms are on the page you book from, and each of our cards states the refund window before you click.
We are also not the Zaanse Schans. The village is run by Stichting de Zaanse Schans, and questions about the mills themselves, about the Ticket Zaanse Schans or about accessibility go to them.
Who we are
A small editorial team that builds one site per attraction. This one covers the Zaanse Schans and nothing else, which is why it can tell you which lane a particular mill stands on and which umbrella your guide will be holding. How we are funded is set out on the affiliate disclosure page.
Where the village is
Schansend 7, Zaandam, North Holland. That is the address for the car park, the information desk and the Zaans Museum, and it is where bus 800 stops. Getting there has the rest.
