Privacy Policy
This site is a set of static HTML pages. It sets no first-party cookies, runs no analytics and has no login, no basket and no form that sends anything anywhere. This page says what that leaves.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no account, no newsletter sign-up and no contact form. If you email us we have your email address, because you sent it to us, and we use it to reply and for nothing else.
Cookies
This site sets none of its own. Your browser may store a preference of its own accord; that is your browser, not us.
The third parties, and exactly when they hear from you
- Viator. Only when you click a booking link. At that point you are on Viator’s site and their privacy policy applies, including whatever cookies they set to attribute the booking. Nothing is sent to them while you read this site.
- Google Maps. The map on the homepage is not loaded until you click “Show the map”. Until you do, nothing is requested from Google and no cookie is set. That is deliberate: an embedded map contacts Google the moment a page loads, before anyone has agreed to anything.
- Our host. The server keeps ordinary web logs — the page requested, the time, the browser, an IP address — as every web server does.
Search engines
This site is verified with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Those tools report aggregate search data to us — which queries showed the site, how many people clicked — and never anything that identifies a person.
Children
Nothing here is directed at children and nothing here collects data from anybody.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data an organisation holds about you, to have it corrected, and to have it erased. In our case the honest answer is almost always “none”. If you have emailed us and would like that email deleted, write to hello@zaanseschanstours.com and it will be.
Changes
If this policy changes the date at the top of the page changes with it. The current version is the one you are reading.
